Audio codecs are one of the building blocks for any audio solution. LTIMindtree, a leading provider of Short Range Wireless technology IPs, makes all the standard codecs defined by Bluetooth SIG specifications available for our clients.
Our Sub Band Codec/modified Sub Band Codec (SBC/mSBC) implementation has been proven in production with multiple customers. This Codec IP has been optimized for the ARM Cortex series of Microcontrollers (MCUs) and HiFi DSP family.
Our Low Complexity Codec (LC3 Codec) implementation has been licensed by multiple semiconductor companies globally. We expect this IP to be in production by Q4-2021. This Codec IP has also been optimized for multiple proprietary and MCU architectures, including the Cortex series of MCUs and many DSP platforms like the Hi-Fi series.
