LTIMindtree Ranked Among Asia-Pacific’s Top 50 Companies on The Financial Times Asia-Pacific Climate Leaders List for Significant Reduction in GHG Emissions over 2016-2021
LTIMindtree is ranked among Asia-Pacific’s top 50 companies in The Financial Times’ “Climate Leaders Asia-Pacific 2023” Leader list for significant strides in reducing their core GHG emissions intensity between 2016 and 2021, relative to revenue.
In its second edition, the Asia-Pacific Climate Leaders survey which is done in partnership with the Financial Times and data provider Statista, LTIMindtree ranked 30th among businesses from 14 Asia Pacific countries that made the list of the top 275 performers across industry sectors.
The survey reviewed falls over the five years to 2021 in “emissions intensity” relative to revenues and calculated companies’ performance in cutting Scope 1 and 2 emissions intensity. Further, each company was assigned a score to reflect their transparency on Scope 3 in addition to other indicators such as collaboration with environmental performance monitor CDP and the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi), which assesses emissions reduction plans.
Asia-Pacific companies headquartered in one of 14 countries and regions (Australia, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Japan, Macao, Malaysia, New Zealand, the Philippines, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand and Vietnam) with a minimum revenue of $50 million in 2021 were eligible for consideration.
