Joseph J. Meyer

Senior Vice President, Personal Lines Segment Leader and Chief Information Officer – Utica National
President and Chief Operating Officer – Founders Insurance Company

Mr. Meyer serves as Senior Vice President, Personal Lines Segment Leader and Chief Information Officer for Utica National, and President and Chief Operating Officer for Founders Insurance Company. He most recently served as Vice President and Director of Personal Lines. He joined Utica National in 2015 as Director of Small Commercial Lines.

He brings over 16 years of industry experience to the company in both Personal Lines and Commercial Lines. Mr. Meyer began his career at Travelers in large casualty underwriting before moving to roles as Regional Finance Officer and Vice President of Inside Sales in Personal Lines. Most recently, he served as Vice President of Personal Lines for a bank-owned agency.

Mr. Meyer earned a Bachelor’s Degree from the State University of New York at Geneseo. He resides in Webster, New York, with his wife and four kids, and coaches Webster youth hockey and lacrosse.

Mr. Crichton is a Managing Director and CIO of Guy Carpenter, and is responsible for leading Guy Carpenter’s global technology organization.

He has extensive background in IT management, operations, strategy, process improvement and business process automation.

Prior to Guy Carpenter, Mr. Crichton held a leadership role at Willis Re for over 15 years. He was in an executive IT leadership role responsible for managing IT investments, driving operational excellence, and managing project governance and execution across the company.

Mr. Crichton is a graduate of Carleton University in Ottawa, Canada.

Strategy and Data Engineering – Marsh

Satish Narayanan is the Head of Architecture & Strategy – Digital Data and Analytics for Marsh. In this global role he leads the business and technology strategy for digital transformation of Marsh leveraging digital experiences, data and analytics, machine learning/artificial intelligence, internet of things and blockchain.

He has had senior technology leadership and engineering experiences across financial services and airline industries including Global Head of Mobile Engineering and Risk Platforms for American Express. Several of his key accomplishments involve advancing business solutions through early adoption of technology like mobile payments, big data platforms for risk-credit/fraud and marketing, blockchain for financial and insurance use cases, airline electronic ticketing/check-in/internet-reservations etc. With a background in cryptography he was an early adopter to blockchain with use cases spanning across Payments, Data Privacy and Insurance domains.

He has applied for and been granted several patents.

John is the Lead client relationships for ISG’s North American Insurance Industry clients. John has extensive experience in operations, sales and financial management. His key areas of expertise include contract structuring, pricing and costing; mergers, acquisitions and joint ventures; information technology systems requirements and development; planning, analysis and reporting. Prior to joining ISG, John was a Managing Director at Alsbridge and, before that, an Executive Strategist, at Dell Services (formerly Perot Systems Corporation), the $8 billion global technology services unit of Dell Inc.

Vijay Narayanan is a Principal Enterprise Architect & AVP for Tokio Marine North America Services. He drives the Business Capabilities Management work and is responsible for several P&C core systems digitalization efforts for Tokio Marine North America group companies. He has responsibility for the global enterprise architecture program across Tokio Marine Group, as well.

He has extensive background in the insurance industry, earlier having worked at Allianz implementing technology solutions in the annuities space.
