How’s your ransomware preparedness?
Ransomware attacks are becoming more sophisticated and frequent across all industries and geographies, prompting organizations to look out for new and innovative ways to protect themselves.
To help our clients better defend themselves against ransomware attacks, we have partnered with TrustMAPP to develop a one-of-a-kind Ransomware Readiness Assessment framework. It’s based on the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Cybersecurity Framework industry standard; this assessment provides organizations with an effortless way to assess their ransomware readiness.
The LTIMindtree and TrustMAPP, Ransomware Readiness framework, is a short, 32-question subset of the well-established NIST Cybersecurity framework. The assessment is designed to evaluate the organizational readiness around each stage of a ransomware attack- surveillance, distribution, infection, staging, scanning, encryption, and extortion. It uses a set of ransomware-readiness controls dictated by NIST Special Publication 1800-26 and is organized in accordance with the ransomware lifecycle per NIST Project Description "Data Integrity – Detecting and Responding to Ransomware and Other Destructive Events." Detecting the threats early can stop the threat actors from reaching their objectives and minimize the potential damage to your organization.
