Unconscious Bias Programs
We are all subject to unconscious bias on a daily basis. This is common to everybody and is our normal mechanism of coping with the over-abundance of information available. Our brain makes quick connections and inferences, and if we are not careful, it can lead to a bias at the workplace, which can lead to an unhealthy work environment.
Bias based on gender, conformity, affinity, and attractiveness are common. Understanding these biases and creating awareness allows us to respond meaningfully, rather than react instinctively. At LTIMindtree, this training is encouraged for all, including first-time managers and senior leaders.

Nurturing Women Leaders
The increase in women representation in leadership positions continues to be a key focus area at LTIMindtree. They provide a valuable opportunity for visibility, professional development, networking and cross-functional exposure for women looking to advance their careers.
Early Career Initiatives
To enable women to look at technology as a long-term career, at LTIMindtree, there is a focus on continual skilling to enable them to keep abreast of the changing technology landscape. While technology skilling is very important, life skills coaching is equally necessary to help women succeed.
Many women in tech still find barriers to success and feel the need to compromise on their career aspirations, due to which, many choose to drop out of the workforce. Their choices are constrained by marriage, domestic responsibilities, distance, maternity, mobility and other societal reasons. This program at LTIMindtree is targeted at women who are at early to mid-career levels. Our initiative, supplemented by coaching, helps women make the right choices with confidence, conviction and clarity to succeed at the workplace.
Mentoring Initiatives
As we grow in our professional careers, a mentor is a valuable guide who helps us grow our skills, make better decisions and gain new perspectives – someone who helps bring out the best in us.
We have a structured mentoring program for high potential women in mid management roles. Mentoring is a very valuable asset for growing, both professionally and personally. With the right ear to listen, and the right person to show us a different viewpoint, we discover the answers are often within us – we just need a little help to uncover them and make them our own.
Women Wednesdays
Women Wednesdays is a unique initiative where we invite women leaders from within our organization, our customers and industry experts to share the stage at LTIMindtree. Through their life journeys and experiences, these leaders stand out as role models to other women, help break gender bias and provide unique insights and tips to help women advance in their professional careers.

Inclusive in approach since inception, today we have several people with disabilities who contribute to our success. They are supported by infrastructure and assistive technologies conducive to them.

We conduct regular workshops on different topics of Disability such as ‘Wired Differently’, a workshop to bring awareness of neurodiversity across the organization. This helped us understand how we are all similar and yet all unique, and having an understanding of this wiring helps us have more collaborative and fruitful engagement with colleagues who may be wired differently from us.
We also conduct workshops aimed at fostering understanding and inclusion for individuals with disabilities, covering the correct terminology to use and best practices in inclusion.
Nurturing LGBTQ+ Inclusion

Gender Neutrality
We revisit our policies at regular intervals to ensure compliance with our initiatives and move towards an inclusive, gender-neutral organization.
Sensitization Workshops
To bespeak our commitment towards LGBTQ+ inclusion, we have hired qualified transgender individuals at LTIMindtree and are working to ensure that they have a safe space at work to be themselves and grow with the company. We conduct sensitization workshops for the teams they would be joining, to build awareness, break stereotypes and create a trans-inclusive workplace.
Together With PRIDE
Our Employee Resource Group for LGBTQ+ individuals and allies. With a charter to create safe spaces to talk about LGBTQ+ issues and sensitise the organization, our Employee Resource Group has been active for over a year, has monthly connects and quarterly events for the whole organization.
Progressive Policies
Medical Insurance Policy
Covers same-sex partner. Covers transgender-specific medical needs such as GID, hormone treatment and Gender Reassignment Surgery.
Primary Care Giver Policy
We have Primary Care Giver leave, which applies to single fathers, same-sex couples and trans persons.
Gender Neutral Policies
Our policies are gender neutral and our definition of family is inclusive of partners.
Veteran Friendly
We recognise the service that veterans have put in towards the armed forces of the nation. They bring together a wealth of knowledge, wide-ranging experience and skill to the workplace, coupled with a discipline and focus, which will help organisations succeed..
We have several Veterans contributing to the success of our company in multiple roles - overseeing security, facilities, heading customer success, leading sales, program management etc. We are looking to substantially increase our veteran representation in the organisation over the next few years.
We are instituting programs to support the integration of veterans into our workforce and have partnered with Directorate General Resettlement (DGR) to support the transition of ex-servicemen to the corporate workforce where they can contribute to the economic empowerment of the nation.
